Typically the pricing structure varies on the size, complexity and location of the property.

Fees range from $500 for a small apartment building 2 to 12 units, $800 and up for a mid size 15 unit to 75 unit building. Larger condominium complexes will be bid on overall size. Retail buildings such as shopping centers, strip centers, restaurants, banks, offices etc. would also be bid on the overall size but would typically range between $1,000 to $2,400. This is only a general guideline. Other commercial properties are bid on an individual basis.

We ask for a copy of a survey of the property along with a signed contract and a check for the fee to begin the assignment.

Typically we can complete the reports quickly, we quote a two week turnaround time but usually can complete them within one week.

Citizens will accept the signed and dated contract as proof for writing or renewing policies, with the completed report to follow. We can e-mail the PDF files directly to your agent. Our reports have been approved and accepted by Citizens Insurance for the purposes of renewing existing policies or writing new policies.
